Why People Blog What They Blog?

First, shouldn’t I have the answer to this question, before considering blogging? Second, since there are already billions of pages on the web, why add ‘some more of those’ to this information ocean?

One answer to the first question might be the prehistoric human aspiration to communicate- for the very same reason why the cavemen, our forefathers, used to draw symbols on stones.

Considering the scientific findings that ‘our brain works less when we watch TV compared to when we sleep’, it is not at all surprising that TV has almost successfully made people believe ‘what and for whom’ it wanted them to believe! It’s like keeping everyone connected in a world of ‘matrix’! We think what we are allowed to think, we say what we are allowed to say and we are what we are chosen to be! So, bloging might also be a response to this ever-lying mass media.

Blog may not reverse this world of lies. But it’s worth trying, given that brain works better when coherent thoughts are transmitted among the curious minds!

About the second question, why adding ‘just another page’ to the web? Well, let’s just say I realized that some people will read my blog- someone like you! See, you have just read it, haven’t you?
